Christy Vanden is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based out of the Comox Valley. She is known for her solo music career and has lent her voice and guitar to many notable artists, groups, and recordings over the years, leading to multiple award nominations in B.C. Her 2024 touring season included playing at the 30th anniversary Vancouver Island Music Festival, and throughout her career she has toured around B.C and Alberta, playing notable stages like main stage at Sunfest, Sid Williams Theatre, Filberg Festival, Cumberland Wild, Sunshine Music Festival, and many more.
She will be playing a mix of uplifting fingerstyle acoustic compositions from her instrumental EP, “Unexpected Road”, plus her favourite cover songs and originals that span from folk and country to blues and jazz.
